Cambridge, the current Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week, scored 14 points in the third quarter, including the Buckeyes’ last nine, helping extend their 13-point halftime lead to 79-59 entering the fourth. Despite a strong 13-0 run from the Spartans in the final period that brought the game within seven points, Ohio State Buckeyes responded with key baskets from Cotie McMahon and Cambridge to maintain control. Cambridge finished the game with 5-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc and 12-of-22 overall, while Petty recorded a season-high 15 rebounds and six assists. McMahon added 17 points for the Buckeyes (24-4, 13-4). For Michigan State (20-8, 10-7), Theryn Hallock scored a career-high 29 points, and Grace VanSlooten contributed 19.

Ohio State Buckeyes dominated the first half, with Petty and Cambridge combining for 32 points, leading to a 54-41 advantage at the break. Ohio State shot an impressive 67% in the first quarter, scoring 31 points.

In other action, second-ranked UCLA defeated Wisconsin 91-61. Lauren Betts led the Bruins with 26 points and 10 rebounds, helping UCLA (28-1, 16-1) tie USC for first place in the Pac-12. The Bruins built a strong 22-12 lead in the first quarter and extended it to 55-30 by the third, with Betts hitting 11 of 12 shots. Serah Williams scored 22 points for Wisconsin (13-15, 4-13).

No. 10 TCU closed out its regular season with a dominant 91-56 win over last-place Houston. Hailey Van Lith scored 26 points, and Madison Conner added 15 on three-pointers. The Horned Frogs (27-3, 15-2) extended their home winning streak to 22 games and are likely to host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, with a showdown against No. 17 Baylor for the Big 12 title.
