NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – DJ Pickett, the top-ranked cornerback in America, has committed to LSU.
The 5-star cornerback from Zephyrhills, Florida, chose the Tigers over Oregon and Miami. This commitment is a significant win for LSU secondary coach Corey Raymond, who has been targeting Pickett since his return to Baton Rouge in January.
Ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect for 2025 by On3, Pickett stands at 6’4″ and weighs 179 pounds. LSU already has the No. 1 overall recruit, quarterback Bryce Underwood, in their fold.
With Pickett’s commitment, LSU’s 2025 recruiting class now includes 17 players. On3 ranks LSU’s class as the third-best in the country.
