Injury Update: Rams Provide Heartwarming Report on Robinson’s Injury Status

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – On Monday, Rams head coach Sean McVay provided an update on the status of wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, who sustained a hand injury during the team’s recent victory. McVay clarified that Robinson is dealing with a “hand avulsion,” but reassured reporters that the injury should not hinder his participation in the upcoming Week 14 home game against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. The game is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on FOX.

“We’ll just need to protect the hand and pad it for extra support, but he should be ready to go,” McVay confirmed, providing an optimistic outlook on Robinson’s availability for the crucial matchup.

In the Rams’ 21-14 win over the New Orleans Saints, Robinson played a key role, recording two receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. Despite the hand injury, it seems unlikely that he will miss any action, and the team expects him to be on the field when the Rams face off against the Bills.

McVay also addressed quarterback Matthew Stafford‘s injury, revealing that Stafford is dealing with what he described as “a little lateral ankle sprain.” While the injury could have been a concern, McVay downplayed it, stating that it won’t impact Stafford’s usual routine for the week, including practice. “It’s nothing that will affect his weekly rhythm,” McVay said. “He should be good to go for Sunday’s game.”

Stafford appeared to injure his ankle during the second quarter of the Rams’ game against the Saints, after being tackled while attempting an incomplete pass. Though he limped off the field briefly, Stafford returned to finish the game and played a pivotal role in the win, throwing two touchdown passes in the second half. Given his resilience and McVay’s reassurance, it seems Stafford will be ready to lead the Rams against Buffalo.
